Glamour Up Cosmetics Product Review

#Product Review

I got the opportunity to review yet another black-owned beauty line!

This week’s product review is brought to you by Glamour Up Cosmetics by the lovely Gerladine Legros. (A fellow Haitian woman, whoop whoop) Gerladine is a mother of two children and a Boston native.

Shipping and Packaging: Products are shipped in 3-5 days during the week, excluding Holidays and weekends. I got my packaged quickly and the products were not damaged. Glamour Up Cosmetics currently only ships within the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. They do offer free shipping on orders of $40 or more.

Do know, that there a re no refunds because of sanitary reasons. Which is understable and respectable.

I LOVE the packaging. Super sleek and sexy

Glamour Up Cosmetics- Sandy beach eyeshadow palette:

This eyeshadow pallete had beautiful colors and I really loved the scheme. Unfortunately, however, it was not very pigmented and did not show well on my skin tone. The pictures I will provide are taken with flash.

Maybe with a white primer and packing it on, the pigments will show more. I will definitely go and try that method if you are brown or of a darker shade.

Glamour Up CosmeticsMatte Liquid Lipstick (#01) & Glamour Up CosmeticsMetallic Liquid Lipstick(#91)

These lipsticks are just what you need!!!!

I particularly was crazy about the matte liquid lipstick because it is a great red shade that went well with me. Be sure to moisture those lips before application because it is quite matte! Both of the lipsticks are pigmented and last a good amount of hours but it can come off some if you’re drinking and eating.  (They’re currently having a sale so grab yours!)

Glam Brow Pomade:

I was sent the medium Brown color, and just off the look of it, it appeared to be more grey. But once I applied it and used my brow pencil, I loved the results. The pomade is so buttery and very pigmented so you want to make sure you are applying lightly and only a little. This pomade can probably last a good year if you take care of it.

Individual Blush(Diva):

The blush is on the light side but it does show. This blush i would say is for the ladies who do not go hard on blush. If you just want to add a little color, this blush would do it for you.

Final Look & Thoughts:

I would give Glamour Up Cosmetics a 4 out 5. The customer service is great, the website is very user-friendly, I love the packaging and would purchase from them and recommend!

Like what you see? make sure to check out Glamour Up Cosmetics!

Peace, Love & Melanin
